To make it short, there are two things to know about the types of Local Natives.
First, it is not up to them he must turn if you want chopper. They are all, except one couple, yet they live together in the same slum. Weird huh? Well you say that girls with whom they will try to fix you once think the same thing. By extension, you'll spend too weird for a guy.

STAGE INVASION: You named your Group Local Natives, it's nice, but you are truly native to where?
Kelcey: Most of us grew up in southern California, apart from Andy who is from Colorado, but we all live in California now. I think the history of the name of the group we wanted something that represented us in a good way, and that people could remember easily. We write and compose all the group as a community musicians, then "Local Natives" represents us well.
/ / You played in Paris last night (Saturday, 6, ed) , and the festival of Inrocks, your concert they described as the best festival yet.
MATT: Wow, really? Yeah, it was a great concert. Paris has always been lucky so far, it's always good times with the public, people seem to appreciate what you are doing then it's great.
/ / We spent the afternoon trying to find reviews negative online about your group, but we have found absolutely nothing. Looks like everyone loves you.
Kelcey: (laughs) What more?! But we, we saw some ...
/ / We had to miss them. So go ahead and do your own critique.
Kelcey: Something that could change within the group, perhaps? There are probably millions.
MATT: (ironically) No, it is perfect!
Kelcey: We're too perfectionist, very picky about every detail.
MATT: We're not very prolific. It takes us time to write and compose, for example, is virtually incapable when on tour. This is not necessarily a bad thing because that is what defines our group, we're like that, but we should perhaps learn to be more multitasking.

Kelcey: This is the name of the album too, and therefore it refers to where you wrote the disc in two different houses, one in Orange County and one in Silver Lake, east Los Angeles. I thought the name reflected the flavor of the house, a place very dirty with a bunch of boys trying to make music ...
/ / Okay, let's summarize. You all live in the same house, you feel each group member as important as another and you claim your musical influences as belonging to the 1970s. It is concluded therefore that you are hippies.
MATT: (laughs) In fact, we no longer live together now - we're on tour for so long as one has passed on the house. But I would not say we're hippies, one's own kind enough you know!
/ / You've already missed the time when you were in France last winter for the Route du Rock with Beach House and The Tallest Man On Earth. How was it?
Kelcey: Awesome! We really wanted to see The Tallest Man On Earth because we love his album. It seems to me that xx was supposed to play that night but they also had to cancel because of a personal problem and had to be replaced by These New Puritans ... which eventually canceled too! In fact, we're the only ones coming! (laughs) But it was amazing , we ended up playing later, headlining all the others have canceled.
/ / We do not really understand the theme of the shark in the video Eyes Wide ... A little explanation may be?
MATT: Well of course it has nothing to do with the song! (laughs) Our guitarist, Ryan, has a ridiculous fear of sharks, it is really terrified to see when in the water. So he came up with this idea and it was dark, with this ridiculous concept, praying for success to do something!
Kelcey: We have not obscure history to tell to justify it, unfortunately!

Kelcey: I must have 14 or 15 years. I went to the lake with one of my friends, the kind of place where everyone organizes parties. We had a golf cart that drove a little around the lake. I had apparently very little experience alcohol problems, because I had two beers and I was already gone. So we were going down a hill with the golf cart, and I know not why, I came up the idea of jumping from the car at full speed. So I yelled "hipppppiiii" I jumped, I wickedly picked up by ground and I rolled in the mud. I remember thinking at the time "but what a jerk! You really are a moron! "My head ached, ached all in fact, it was horrible. Yeah, it's probably one of the stupidest things I've done.
MATT: To stay on the subject of cars, I was at a restaurant, drive-in. So I was driving, and there was a car ahead of me (luckily, was one of my friends). It should be noted that there was a slight slope forward. A friend was with me, someone arrived to announce something - I forget what - or why I'm out of the car like super excited, and I totally forgot to turn off the engine and then put the parking brake, like any normal person. Then the car crashed into one of my buddy, who came out screaming "but what the hell is that?! "

Kelcey: We had little. There's one that we scored, a few months ago in Florida. A guy came to us before the concert and asked me "do you mind if I go for Sun Hands? MATT: You should know that it was a tiny stage, a bar of 200 people at most, and the guy has messed up my battery!
Kelcey: So now, we do not like invasions of scene, but mostly it does not depend on us anyway.
MATT: But you are like you, so you can get on stage and destroy my battery if you want! (laughs)

Kelcey: You should keep hanging around the corner and try your luck with them!

Ciney A week after a sixth training session was being set up near Alexandria (Egypt). The scenery was much more important because the participants were Egyptian, Sudanese, Syrian, Lebanese, Rwanda, Burundi, Zimbabwe, South Africa and came from seven provinces.
Participants arrived in Cairo or Alexandria directly. Since there is a little over three hours by bus to reach the place where the training was going on, those who have transited through Cairo have been housed in a large center (orphanage and home for the mentally handicapped) held by the Coptic Catholic Church. I was greeted at the airport by Ashraf, treasurer of the Northern Province Egypt, which took me to the center where I spent the night. The alarm was very early because it was the festival of Eid and the large nearby mosque had attracted many followers. But anyway, we had to leave early with delegates from Syria, Sudan and Burundi to reach Alexandria. I have had a glimpse of what this megalopolis Cairo: urbanization very important, a system of garbage collection very rudimentary that made me recall the action of Sister Emmanuelle, crossing the Nile, and .... in the distance, hidden in the haze and pollution, the three great pyramids! The road passes the boundary between the delta of the Nile and the desert is very flat, very green with lots of palm trees, and the population density is very important.
The training session took place in a beautiful old Jesuit and housing conditions (rooms, food, work rooms, chapel, chapel green ...) were excellent.
We could go one afternoon Alexandria, see the beautiful library, the port and the place where once stood the famous lighthouse.
The participants were very attentive and showed great joy and enthusiasm! The evenings were very busy with dance, songs and games.
The presence of Roy Moussalli was very popular and excellent response. He addressed the theme of ecumenism, which is very prominent in this part of the world, with its difficulties but also its wealth. We had during the session, thanks to the presence of six chaplains, Mass Syriac Orthodox and Catholic masses including a Coptic rite. 
If I had to pick one image from this session is that of mass mailing in which the gospel was read in Arabic, on the left of the altar and English on the right of the altar. I saw both times the words from the altar to join the meeting! Whatever the crop, the writings is the altar that Jesus sent everyone richer all that had lived in the formation, carrying the message of joy to his community, like the pilgrims of Emmaus parties in a hurry to reach their community after the breaking of bread.
