Mobile Home Ceiling Strips
The training sessions will follow ...
After Hong Kong , Sao Paulo , Zembrzyce and Lima, A fifth training session was held at international Ciney ( Belgium) in early November. Over 60 participants (representing 19 provinces), from Belgium , France, the Netherlands, Luxembourg's , of Austria, Slovenia to , of Italy, Switzerland, Canada but also Lubumbashi (DRC ) of Madagascar, the Seychelles and Maurice were very diligent, studious and attentive for more than four days.
I could only come for two days, but I soon realized by the ambiance, group cohesion, all appreciated these days, that all adhered to the spirit of what they proposed was that all, steeped in the memory of the working sessions would start full energy to their province and their community.
The lessons, workshops, singing, prayer times have followed with great fluidity. I was touched by the testimony of the Viviane Polain , came to say that everything it has lived Faith and Light, beautiful, but also difficult for all the years she has held positions of responsibility. I liked the prayer vigil with all the lights made by each unit that brought us together was palpable. I liked walking in the corridors following the pilgrims of Emmaus . I saw and appreciated the work of many "little hands" who were working behind the scenes so that everyone has everything that she needed to be well, to monitor and make the most of the training.
I could take time with each other, talk about the preparation of many pilgrimages, and it was good to see how the momentum of the provinces was strong. The desire to gather as much people on the occasion of the anniversary of Faith and Light touched me deeply.
I am very grateful to all those who sometimes came from afar to attend this training to all those who planned and organized this project, the team that prepared the content. But this session was not the last ... another is yet to come!

Do not rely on the photo or their name or the number of members in the group (eight): The Phenomenal Band Handclap are not hippies! Well, of course, the two girls in the group were cut in 1970 of Anita Pallenberg and willingly wear high-waisted pants legs eph somewhat, and some of the boys could be mistaken Jim Morrison last period, or the Bee Gees in the video Stayin 'Alive . But in reality it is not. Music Band The Phenomenal Handclap is closer to a soul with pop and funk, and we do not doubt that all this happy band put a little sunshine at Expo Park on the first night of the festival.

name Roky Erickson did you may be unfamiliar, but this man is not one of the last living legends of rock'n'roll. Leader of the 13th Floor Elevators, a group having existed officially only four years, from 1965 to 1969, often cited as the first psychedelic rock band and had an influence on ... almost all groups that followed. Not exactly what can be called great looking on the consumption of hallucinogens, Roky Erickson is one of those who lost a few feathers. Over the past forty years, difficult to enumerate accurately his stays in mental institutions (sometimes because he claims to have become an alien, sometimes because he is haunted by satanic and demonic beings) that will aggravate his mental condition.
But we do not come to grips with the skin of Roky Erickson so easily, let alone his inexhaustible creativity. After twenty-five years of radio silence, the old wolf of Texas returned a few concerts in ensuring dropper, released an album in March 2010 with the band Okkervil River, and there is no doubt that his concert in Rennes on December 11 will mark yet a little history TransMusicales.
PARIS SUIT YOURSELF

One feels the loan to no-wave post punk that much, but they describe their work as "techno-free electronic sounds." The origin of this group, two French and one American, met by chance at a party in Paris and who subsequently migrated to Berlin. And when the band toured a session Concert -aways in a sort of chapel cellar, we pass from the completely bizarre scary, a singer with a headdress topped by Indian devilish disguise a drummer between the holding of the Olympic shot putter and string version Borat , and a guitarist wearing a cape as Dracula and Wayfarer.
For all these reasons, it's a safe bet that they move to TransMusicales be noticed and not miss any reason. Four years after the Horrors, it's time that Paris Suit Yourself done again shook the hall 3!

For some hermits who do not know yet Pnau, Australian dance group in business for ten years, there is one thing to do: listen and start to dance because I'm searching, I can not find someone my entourage who once told me she did not like their music. Pnau is a recipe that unfortunately not all groups unaware of the ingredients. For proof, one of two members of the combo also trained Empire Of The Sun, a group equally remarkable. History to add a layer, we say that their live performances are exceptional (those present at the November 5, 2008 Ubu still remember it). If the two Australians had to cancel their visit to the Trans in 2008 one month before the concert, no doubt they will this time although there Dec. 11 to make a giant dancefloor Hall 9.

INROCKS TO UNWIND AT THE OLYMPIC
There are two constants that, each year, repeated endlessly with the festival Inrocks. The original partner still not to say crazy which joins the festival every year (this fall Black XS Paco Rabanne aka, last year an agency for the protection of ecological environment, SNCF in 2009, etc..), and the assurance of having a good lineup, which is located in Paris, Toulouse, Lille and Nantes. From our side, and for the third consecutive time, it was moved from Nantes in time for a weekend.
In particularly rainy Saturday in Nantes, weather conditions have deterred some of us go early in Olympic failing to arrive mode "hello I jumped in a pool before you come." A situation quite unthinkable because you never know, you could pass Carl Barat in the bend of a corridor. To preserve a bit of physical and social decency, we therefore missed concerts Free Energy and Blood Surfer. We can not say if you really missed great musical moments, since we heard two bells on the first group: on one side, the Free Energy were great, the other, it was more like a concert by American rock band at the homecoming than anything else. We therefore remain in limbo.
Let's be honest, we did not know what to expect vis-à-vis the concert Carl Barat since his first solo album recently released the antithesis of everything he could do before, and, let's not mince words, pretty average. It may even speak of a sense of fear itself. But, it is unclear what magic formula, it turns out that the friend Carlos has a kind of aura as soon as his feet stepped onto a stage. Charisma, grace, the words are accessories but the presence is there. Thus, even when not n'empoigne his guitar to play a piece of one of his past training, public attention is not falling either. Well, as Not surprisingly, it is of course the songs of The Libertines have had the most success (The Man Who Would Be King , Death On The Stairs , Up the Bracket, and the magnificent Do not Look Back Into The Sun final) and those of Dirty Pretty Things. While it is nice to see that Carl Barat has taken the bull by the horns after his addiction problems, resulting in this live, what was on everyone's lips, it was the desire to see four Libertines to reform, not just for financial reasons as was the case this summer.
break off nostalgia. The last concert of the evening was provided by Drums. We had heard that the previous dates of the tour Inrocks, the rooms were emptied before the delivery of U.S.. After attending the course, we understood why. A set too repetitive, if not downright redundant, add to that the problems of sound (a voice almost inaudible) and you get the instructions to scare an audience. The Drums can yet boast of causing an album, it is unfortunate and disappointing that so little interest in their live. We'll put that on the back of their young career.

Say what you want, but some unexpected psychedelic rock, it's always fun. The small downside is that the concert was too linear, with no real climax, and it is therefore not surprising that he appeared quite similar to many people in the audience.
Third concert of the evening, and probably the most anticipated considering the applause all concerts combined, are Local Natives. The real surprise about the performance of California is the emphasis on live percussion, much more present than on the album, which is not reminiscent of the Cold War Kids, White Rabbits. Almost all the songs on the album spends, whose best Eyes Wide , World News, Airplanes , Who Knows Who Cares not to mention their cover of Warning Sign Talking Heads. The finale is majestic with Sun elongated Hands a break and an almost a capella chorus. The public burning hands in applause to beg a reminder, but to no avail: the timing is rigged and The Coral is the next group. Anyway, this concert of Local Natives remain as one of the only truly passionate and exciting of the weekend.
The prospect of going to see The Coral after this wonderful concert of Local Natives we cooled a little, and very courageous, we spend together at the bar. At the end of the evening, Local Natives, interviewed earlier in the afternoon join us in search of an after. We spend a quarter of an hour arguing about the possible places where to spend some time at Nantes on Sunday night at midnight, but for lack of conclusive solution and a course in college the next day at 10:30 Rennes, we shake hands and say to the next.

Mini-retreat at Our Lady of Atlas Trust
"You have made us facing you, Lord, and our heart is restless until it rests in you" These words of St. Augustine, a leading figure of the Christian North Africa resonates in me after four days at the Trappist monks of Atlas, Midelt (Morocco), on the other side of North Africa. 
The monks are few, three: the prior Flachaire Jean-Pierre's brother Jean-Pierre Schumacher, the last of the monks of Tibhirine hotel and brother, Jose-Luis. But the gift of life, abandonment, presence precarious and fragile, their desire to be with, to be praying in the middle of praying reveals a power to move mountains! Mountains that are very active around Midelt and peak at over 3000 meters (already covered with snow this season), the monastery is its 1500 meters of altitude. The temperature is already cold and the blankets are very popular night! The hotel also closes for the winter and I was the last guest to stay there this year.
be found in this monastery many sources of inspiration:
- Tibhirine that of course, by the presence of the brother Jean-Pierre and a memorial where the pictures are presented of the seven murdered monks and a copy Christian brother's will. The library of the monastery of Tibhirine was transported to Midelt,
- that of Charles de Foucauld by the presence of the Father Peyriguère, whose body was transferred to Midelt last summer his way of life was best to achieve the ideal of the spirituality of Brother Charles.
- that of the Franciscan sisters who were the first to occupy the current premises of the monastery where they were loaded from an orphanage and a weaving workshop and are now higher up the mountain, Tatiouinne.
Here the context in which I was welcomed very warmly by the monks, I am grateful for everything I have lived with them

's brother Jean-Pierre (prior) told me he had a sister with Down syndrome when he was very attached . The monks have assured me of their prayers for Faith and Light and I have given particularly the work of international coordination team, and each community is invited to a pairing with a religious community, the ECI now his.
- a time of friendship with many conversations in the courtyard of the monastery and moments like this daily appointment of 10 hours when the workers who work for the rehabilitation of a building (an extension of hotel) invite the monks and people passing to share mint tea and a sardine sandwich: this is called over there the wider community.

All this because I feel like I have experienced a mini-retirement and it made me much good!
The day I left, there was much excitement in the city! And for good reason, it was the day of the visit of the king! The city decked with flags floating Moroccan everywhere and thousands of people converged on the city to attend this great event. The monastery also decked with a Moroccan flag and a portrait of the king above the entrance door.
I'm already surprised many times to think of time spent in this community, saying "they are now in the chapel singing the Office" and I join them in prayer at the monastery invisible I feel a little party.

How Long Should I Let Eyebrows Grow
Yamna, God is with you!
Yamna I met October 29 in Midelt (Morocco). Yamna has 39 years 
it is a special education and founded an association called "The Road to Life". It caters for children with disabilities who mind it offers educational activities: psychomotor, learning various games. The building that houses the association is in full work and it promises to be magnificent.
Yamna is also links with Franciscan nuns and the monks of Our Lady of Atlas, through them, she became aware of what we do in our Faith and Light communities. This pleased him, and she adapted the operation to the cultural and religious Morocco. December 27 Last Tiqa (trust in Arabic) was born and meetings are held regularly in the buildings of the association, but I already told this: http://fli-afoi.blogspot.com/2010/01 / tiqha la confiance.html
So I was very happy to attend a meetings Tiqa. We were eighteen: 7 children with disabilities, parents (as mothers and sisters) and two friends (including Yamna). The meeting began with a time of sharing around the question: "how the word of God can help parents of disabled children?". Everything was in Arab and discussions were lively, but Yamna has taken the time to translate what everyone said. There was then a snack, each made of fruit juice and cakes, then a prayer (I had the chance to be named). If this course you remember something, it is no accident! Here's what I wrote on my return Yamna:
I thank you warmly for your hospitality and your kindness! Meets Tiqa (easier to write than to say ;-)) was for me a memorable time. Realize that the intuition of the founders of Faith and Light (together, around people who mental disabilities, members of the family, parents, siblings and friends to share, celebrate and pray together) can be applied to other religions is a confirmation for me.
I do believe that the disabled person can be a source of unity, can gather around it all people of good will so that together we celebrate the infinite value of life!
The next day we met for tea in town with Yamna and Lamia. Lamia is 14 and has Down syndrome, her father left when she was born and she knows that sentence. She was very happy (and me too ...) to walk me down the street holding hands!

was hesitated to put the last sentence of the interview in title "People do not go on stage because they are afraid of me" because Angus Andrew, Liars singer, is still serious pinball. A few seconds after saluting, this freak of nature we asked if there was not a weed plan for the evening. Between us, normally, if a type of two meters with tentacles instead of arms and legs bear came up to me after I ask for the drug, I cried my mother, I vomit, I began to cry, I vomited and then I fainted again. A little over a month after its release, but better late than never, it is time to highlight the new album by Mark Ronson, Record Collection.
