Congratulations On The Pregnancy Saying

Summer is often conducive to the flowering of American groups belonging to a scene dreampop booming. We remember the emergence of The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart last year, for example. The latest recruit quality time was Jack Tatum, or rather Wild Nothing the name of his project, and sign one of the essential albums of the summer with Gemini.

hard after listening to this album to believe it was entirely recorded by a single man, namely the one hiding behind the pseudonym Nothing Wild, Jack Tatum. Yet the case. While some point out some weaknesses of the young age (21 years) and little experience of the American musical (ease of production, a certain naivety in the writing), the effectiveness of his pop compositions nevertheless appears indisputable. Gemini does have potential melodic rare titles Live In Dreams, Summer Holiday , O Lilac , My Lonely Angel or Chinatown demonstrated brilliantly.

melodies, driven by synths and clear sound of guitars, restore freshness hitherto missing this summer heatwave to be sensed from the beginning to the end. In addition to bestow upon us a sense of freedom and recklessness more than respectable, the music of Wild Nothing is reminiscent of some groups to whom we owe a whole section of today's pop music namely the Cocteau Twins (on Drifter), or The Cure ( Gemini).

Gemini therefore offers a dreampop careless and ephemeral, yet intense, brief, adjectives with which we all hope to describe a perfect summer time when the return will come.
